Loving and serving those in need
What does loving and serving look like? We bring volunteers from across the country to a location affected by disaster and assist homeowners in rebuilding and repairing their damaged homes. Our ministry began by only responding to natural disasters, like hurricanes or blizzards. Today, we respond to human disasters as well, such as building safe houses for human trafficking survivors.
We are proud to call Buffalo home to our Northeastern satellite location. Since we came in 2018, we have hosted EDOH Buffalo in the University District, the Masten District, the Fillmore District, and the Lovejoy District, helping over 545 families with free home repairs and yard work. This year from July 20-27, EDOH - Buffalo 2024 will help out 100 families in the Ellicott District with free home repairs!
Buffalo, it is an honor to love and serve you!
Nationwide, Eight Days of Hope has brought over 55,127 volunteers to serve on 61 disaster response trips, 13 safe house builds, and many community outreaches, like EDOH Buffalo. Today, we have loved and served over 10,003 families, providing $83.8 million of work through the 2,140,259 donated-volunteer hours. And we are just getting started!
Eight Days of Hope is a Christian, nonprofit organization that exists to love and serve those in need.
